- How to make matcha
Our 30g ceremonial-grade matcha tin brings together a rare blend of Samidori, Okumidori, and Yabukita cultivars, hand-picked during the first flush in Uji and Wazuka, Kyoto. Each leaf is shade-grown and carefully stone-ground to preserve its vibrant colour, rich aroma, and delicate nutrients.
The result is a matcha with a smooth, naturally sweet flavour balanced by gentle umami notes, a profile that shines whether you whisk it as usucha or enjoy it as a creamy latte. Compact and beautifully packaged, this tin offers around 15 servings, making it a perfect introduction to ceremonial matcha or a thoughtful gift for a tea lover.
Prepare 2g (about 1 tsp) with 70 ml of hot water at 65-80º C. Whisk and enjoy hot or cold with your favourite milk.
Store matcha away from direct sunlight and heat, will help preserve its vibrant green colour and flavour. Fridge is best! Be sure to close the container tightly after each use to prevent the entry of moisture and oxygen.

I wasn’t a big fan of Matcha until I discovered Mafia Matcha. It’s smooth and easy to create lots of different flavoured drinks, both hot and cold.

I recently fell in love with my local matcha and found that I was purchasing one almost every day! My friend told me about this brand and I was willing to take a chance as my friend had positive results! I am so happy that I trusted my gut I have seen no flaws in this amazing quality matcha powder. I work in retail where we supply matcha and I now bring my own to work with me for personal use as I can’t go back!
Store owner replied: Thank you, Summer! We’re so pleased to hear that you took a chance on Mafia Matcha. It’s especially lovely to hear that you now bring your own matcha to work with you thank you for trusting us with your daily cup! 💚
Absolutely love this matcha powder!! 😍 Such a lovely taste - smooth, creamy and so delicious. I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how much I love it! I’ll definitely be ordering more💚
Store owner replied: Thank you so much, Camilla! It’s wonderful to hear how much you’re enjoying the House Blend. Smooth, creamy and delicious is exactly what we hope you experience with every cup. We’ll be very happy to have you back for your next tin! 💚
Love this matcha, the only critique is how the pouches are packed. The resealable plastic comes unsealed, so when you 1st open the pack you lose some of the precious matcha powder :(
Store owner replied: Thank you, Aoife, for your lovely feedback on the House Blend. We’re really pleased to hear you’re enjoying the matcha, but we’re sorry to hear about the pouch not being properly sealed when you first opened it. We completely understand how frustrating it is to lose some of the matcha, especially when it’s something you’ve been looking forward to using. We’ve passed this feedback on to our team as it’s something we definitely want to look into. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. 💚
My order arrived the next day, it was so quick! The matcha tastes great and has great colour!!

Store owner replied: Thank you, Shauna! We love hearing that you enjoy our matcha. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! 💚
I tried this matcha in different coffee shops around me prior buying it and it’s pure perfection. I love the rich flavour and the tin lasts so much! I just wish the kit was in stock as I need to be able to do the full ritual 🥺 but I have left coffee behind (used to have 2-3 a day) for only 1 matcha a day as the energy level doesn’t crash with matcha. I am in love and I already need a second tin haha
Store owner replied: Thank you so much, Macarena! It means a lot to hear that. We’re especially happy to hear how much you’re enjoying the rich flavour of our House Blend, and that the 30g tin has become part of your daily routine! Good news - the Matcha Station is back in stock. 💚
